Frequently Asked Questions
1) What do I do with money for my camper?
Campers use a private bank/concession account for the safety of their money. They will be given the opportunity to purchase items, reducing their account balance, throughout the camp day. Accounts are started at registration and closed at week’s end. Camp for Champions is not responsible for valuables not checked at the bank.
2) What is the roommate policy?
Rooms accommodate two campers, and roommates can be requested. Please note on application the roommate of your choice. If you come by yourself, you will be assigned a roommate close to your age.
3) What is your cancellation policy?
In case of cancellation prior to camp date, a $50 administration fee will be assessed. No refunds given if a camper leaves during camp week.
4) How often are the camp counselors with the campers?
At all times. Counselors are instructed to be with campers at all times, ensuring safety, fair play, and indiviualized instruction.
5) Where do I drop my child off in the mornings?
At the Sawyer Center. Campers can enter through the west doors or the north doors and there will be a crossing guard to assists children across the street to the Sawyer Center.
6) What is the difference between the boarding camp and regular day camps?
The boarding camps will allow more in-depth instruction times with campers. Campers at the boarding camps will also be able to be drafted onto teams and will play two games a day during the camp week.
